VISUAL ART OUTDOORS

COLOUR

Creating opportunities for using the outdoors as an inspiration and base for making visual art is one of our primary aims.

Our pilot project 'See You Outside' provided valuable information and experiences which we are happy to share with educators and others who may be thinking of taking the artroom outdoors. If you would like to receive a downloadable pdf of our evaluation report, simply send us a message from the contact page.

We love colour in all its hues, tints and shades.

Our Colour Iris on the left shows just a few of the unusual and wonderful names that exist to describe different colours.

Choose your favourite colour and then see how many different words you can find to name that colour.

For example, Vermilion, Scarlet, Crimson and Ruby are all used to describe the colour Red.
