Art Activities, Workshops and Projects for Children, Young People and Adults in Schools, Communities and the Outdoors

ABOUT US

Initiated and led by visual artists Angie Rogers and Viv Owen, Colour Out Of Space is an arts organisation based in West Yorkshire which aims to share specialist creative skills and expertise within educational settings and the wider community.

We work in partnership with a wide range of organisations bringing vibrant and exciting activities to workplaces, schools, nurseries, community centres, visitor centres, sheltered housing, church halls, art galleries and more unusual locations.

We are committed to excellence and high quality results that reflect the diversity and innate talents of all our participants.

We design workshops that are appropriate to individual requirements using innovatory approaches and we deliver successful experiences to children and adults of all ages and abilities, ranging from intensive one-day sessions to longer-term sustained projects.

A developing focus of our work is organising and leading art activities which take place in the outdoors. Our participants tell us how much they enjoy our on-site workshops experiencing and responding to open air environments and working from our unique mobile studio. At present our outdoor workshops are largely targeted to the more clement weather of the Spring and Summer months, but we are now working towards creating an all-weather mobile studio for supporting art activities outside in Autumn and Winter.
